131 Near Peeble's House, Va Saturday, October 22. 1864 Was out on drill in command of Company H. - On Brigade Drill acting Orderly Sergeant of Company H. - Hailed a little today - weather cold and disagreeable. Sunday 23d Was to see Abel Pennypacker, and James. A Chaplain of the Christain Commission held divine services in the regiment this morning and evening. Regimental Inspection - Dallas Wentzel of Company "E" was mustered out and started for home. Monday 24th Received a letter from father with statement of money I sent home from time to time amounting to $740.55 Was out on drill.
