132 Near Peeble's House, Va Tuesday 25th Oct. 1864 Drilled Company H. Orders to be ready to move at a moments notice have been received - men to have four days rations in their Haversacks Wednesday 26th Drew Coffee, Sugar and Hard Bread sufficient to make up four days, ending Oct. 30th. Thursday 27th Moved this morning at three oclock - after going about two miles we halted until day light, when we moved forward again by the flank, when near Hatcher's run we engaged the enemy, during which the following men of our regiment were wounded: Alpheus Combs Co.
