143 everything packed ready for the assembly call. Rained this evening. I am very unwell. Passed considerable blood from my bowels, hence exceeding tired and worn out. Saturday 19th Rained - Cold and disagreeable all day Sunday 20th Rained all day. I had nothing to do today and spent the time reading my bible. Monday 21 Made out a Requisition for 5 days provisions, ending on the 30th of November. Tuesday 22 My house caught fire today, from a defective chimney. Weather cold and disagreeable, but did not rain.
