144 Near Peeble's House, Va. Wednesday, Nov. 23d 1864 Received three letters today viz from Misses - Lowe and Reifsnyder and sister Anna. Miss Reifsnyder sent me brother Henry's Photograph, with the request that I return it. She is in Mr Dailey's Photograph gallery, at Lebanon, and Henry had the pictures taken. The one sent was an extra to be used in the show case. Weather Cold and clear. Thursday 24th This being Thanksgiving day the Sanitary Commission issued three fine apples to every man.
