145 Near Peeble's House, Va. Friday, Nov. 25th 1864 The Brigade Commissary issued Sanitary rations, for Thanksgiving, consisting of Chickens, Turkey &c. It was intended by the Sanitary Commission that they should be issued on Thanksgiving day but they did not arive in time. The boys enjoyed the feast just as well today. Saturday 26th Made out a requisition for 5 days rations for 342 men, ending December 5th Sunday 27th G.W. Brumm recd Commissions: Thos. F. Foster, as Captain of Co. D. Jas. H.
