159 Fort McGilvery, Va - Tuesday, Dec. 20th 1864 Drew and issued clothing to the men of Company "F" and entered them on the clothing Journal. Finished the Ordnance report for 2nd Quarter 1864. Took an inventory of all Ordnance stores belonging to the Company. Rained nearly all day. Wednesday 21. Rained - made out some Ordnance reports.- Posted the Company Clothing books. Was detailed for Picket this evening. Thursday 22 Fixed up the Earthworks, in front of our regiment, and had the traveses cut, so as to make a passage from one end of our line to the other without being exposed to the rebel sharpshooters - Very cold.
