192 Fort McGilvery, Va. Tuesday, February 28th 1865 The regiment was mustered this morning, by Captain Brumm. Wednesday March 1st 1865 Inspected Companies C and F, this morning. Major Schwenk took command of the regiment this morning, relieving Captain Brumm. Thursday 2 Rained all day. Had the men of Company F sign the pay Roll, after which it was sent to Head Quarters of the 1st Division, 9th Army Corps. Friday 3d Captain G.W. Brumm was detailed, by Major Schwenk, as Acting Field Officer, of the Regiment, as per special order #4 from Regimental Head Quarters, dated March 3d.
