222 Philadelphia, Pa - August 31. 1865 Received from Lennen, Harrisburg, Pa picture of my self framed, Painted in colors, for which I paid him Cash $14.00 Sept 1. Bought of T.J. Woodward, fine black cloth Wedding suit - coat, pants and vest for which I paid him cash $75 00 Sept 16 Bought Gold Watch, for wedding present to Rosa C. Lowe for which I paid $52 30 Lawrenceville Pa Sept. 21. 1865 Was married to day, at Reading, Pa., by Chaplain J. F. Meredith, to Rosa C. Lowe, after which we came home to father's house. Jos. V Kendall acted as best man for me.
