Saving...
am quite certain that Genl Stevenson will not be idle in his grand department. What an energettic man he is. Just the man to head our armies, and to inspire confidence in all classes. I think him equal to Grant. There will be two great points of concentration this spring. The Potomac and Dalton, and Grant & Sherman will lead our armies in person to victory. This spring will be a fatal one to the Rebels, mark my words, for ere the middle of August arrives, their armies will be disastrously defeated and their power in a measure destroyed. Our grand army is rapidly filling up with recruits and will be perfectly overwhelming. Give my love to all who may inquire after my welfare, and to all who nursed you during your sickness, kiss the pets for me. I think we will be all right for the next war, Do you not? Be of good courage and live devoted I am your own true and faithful husband Weaver "By by" for Paul (kiss) Clara (kiss) Mand (kiss) (kiss) for Finnie
