have room to circulate freely. We now have three rooms and a loft, which answers to stow away many things. I am also building a corn crib, there is nothing like improvements on a farm, if I knew how long I should remain here I would improve accordingly. I do not like to improve other peoples farms unless I can get the benefit of my labor. There has been another draft gone off in our Township and I am again among those who escaped. I always was rather a fortunate chap. If Our Township had credit for all the men that we have sent there would not be any more drafting for sometime here, through some mistake there is thirty five, for which we have no credit, we sent a
