You ask about Lib's Lord. Do'nt be shocked - I do not mean to be irreverent at all - did not mean the Good Lord - but a mortal man who is called Joshua Lord - and yet lives. She met him last winter when on her way to Kates - They were "snowed in" at St. Jo. stayed two weeks - quite a party of them boarded at the same house. He went on East - she to Hannibal and home again. He is now in New York. They have been corresponding nearly a year - They are not engaged - but he has at different times sent her three photographs, and says he is coming west in the Spring - Hope he will as I have quite a [curiosity] to see him - His picture [?] not call him handsome, but [?] tell you, he has a [moughty?] good look
