make out triplicate Muster and Descriptive rolls of all that have enlisted during the month + I have a lot of old clothes on hand now that will make splendid carpet-rags, you may have them if you will come down after them, I might be preparing some of them for myself along when I have nothing else to do, can tear and sew them almost as well as anybody - havent learned to cook yet, think I will have to take a few lessons in that department soon, I wrote to Irve yesterday - havent had a letter from him since away last Fall, I want him to get me a new Descriptive List if he can, there is no date of Muster on my old one - The Paymaster paid us a visit last Monday and brought a whole lot of Greenbacks, paid us up to the 31st. of Dec, I sent George $130,00. last Teusday - dont expect he will have use for all of it. at present. tell him you want part of it to buy "Weddin fixins" with; I have had one letter from our folks since they arrived in the goodlie land of Penna.
