oclock in the night, yesterday and was to go down to the arsenal this morning but some how we did not have to go per consequence I write you to day I had a letter from Bell yesterday was all well when she wrote, olde 88th Ills is at chicago and the boys at home in all probability, as the Regt was at chicago on the 12th of this month to get there pay and be disbanded Gess we of the V.R.C. will have to Stay untill our time is out, before we get our discharge, well let them rip I have onely 2 months and 9 days longer any how so I dont care so
