if you'll promise not to scold I'll tell you in confidence that I did not write to you last week, was waiting for a letter from you & for Irve to get home, we are so glad to have him Home again for good, & wasent he with all our boys fortunate, in all getting Home sound in Limb. & as Heaththy apparently as when they Entered the service, Irve - looked more like he did when he first left home, than he did when he was home last fall, says he feels better than has for a long time, they all got new suits. in Chicago, didnt have any of their soldier fixins on, I saw Pete in Town - yesterday, he didnt come when - Irve & Will" did, the Train started while he was paying the Darkie for bringing his & Will's Trunks. to the Depot, so he did not get to Wenona untill the after noon Train came in
