This was post-poned on account of the snow metting. Just before I moved, there was a farewell party given to me. We went out to the "Scouts Pasture" for a picnic. The homemaking girls gave me a vase, yellow & blue. As we could not have a class Bob sled party we had a party at Phylliss's. - - - Assembly Programs 1. The cotton Blossom singers sang for us one morning. 2. Rev. C.M. Corrine made a speech on "truth". 3. Mr. Hartman made an Armistice day speech. 4. The dentist, Mr. Miller, made a talk on care "of the teeth. 5. The orchestra played for us. 6. X mas program was given the grade s. 7. Radio talk by a man from K.S.O. 8. Spelling contest in grades. - - - Assembly Prog. 9. Homemaking girls Freshman, gave a play on good habits. 10. Russel Hoon gave his Declam piece. 11. I gave my Declam piece. 12. The best Assem. program, in my estimation, was when the 4 c's school gave us a program. a declam piece was given, trombone soloist very good quartet. a chalk artist gave some very drawings. The fastist typist in High School typed, very good. 13. Our last one - May 18 - the last day of school. Letters were given out. Also great, big, cold, smooth creamy ice cream cones.
