47 Stunt - Summer Time - Year of 1934 Place - Waukee - Indianola We didn't have any spring, it was all summer and what summer!! One day it was 110° on our north porch - in May. Every day was a regular scorcher! We ate, slept, lived and everything else under the sun down in the basement - the only cool spot in the house. Went to Inst. on June 11. Phyllis Copeland, Mary Chleo Fox, Naomi Booth, and Millicent [Ferree?]. We had a very good time considering the many kids there. Over 400, the dormatories were very crowded. I had three dates while I was there - with Glen Randolph. He was just awfully nice. I went with Lorrayna Jenkins quite a bit.
