Miscellaneous Homemaking Congress Banquet Veishea 1934 Iowa State College Science with Practice Homecoming Congress Banquet Oak Room - Memorial Union May 10, 1934 5:30 O'clock 50 cents Freshman and Soph. girls went to Ames to the Homemaking Congress. We started at 8?30. Attended one class. Went over to Mary Lion Hall after a very good picnic dinner. Us four kids ran around together. Went to "dogtown" and got souveniers of ear-rings. Phyllis got pink, Helen green, Edith blue, and I got got yellow. Went to the banquet - it could have been better. We are the remains of the picnic on the way home. 55
