a red refection so far. I suppose the kids will start to school pretty soon. Old Cliff will get along OK I'll bet. Did he get the letter with the present in time for his birthday? I enjoyed his birthday card very much. Well, I got my hair cut yesterday so as to be ready for six weeks in the field. As soon as the six weeks are over, I'm surely going to get a furlough, if I can. However, I've used up almost all of my time, so you may have to come down here. Must close and get moving. Affectionately yours John N.
