Saving...
Camp Atterbury Teheran, Iran Thursday, 17 May 1945 Dear son Clifford, I was very pleased when Mother wrote me that you had received all A's on your report card. Also to learn that you were getting to be quite an acrobat on the mattress. You are pretty strong and should be able to do quite a lot of tricks, if you will only take the time and trouble to learn how and teach your muscles what you want them to do. How are you getting along on the piano lessons? I'm really expecting you to play some hot tunes for me when I come home again. I suppose you are going up & visit Grandma Calhoun & also Grandpa & Grandma Rains this summer. I've just returned from a trip to Palestine & Syria & I'll write about it later. Enclosed are some snap shots which you can give to Mother to put with the others. Be a good boy. Love and kisses Daddy
