Saving...
Said he would be where he could smell gun powder soon, so naturally she is worried to death. We are going to have a farewell for Marian friday night. Guess we are going to the Elks Club for supper. Wish you could be here. Guess you were probably pretty tired after I left too, wasn't you? Well I guess we will live, after all. It was worth it wasn't it? Kids are all O.K. I sent their letters to you in the last letter I wrote. I thought they were real cute. Hope you will enjoy them. I have to work again tonight. Gladys Hamff called & wanted me to go to the Elks Minstrel show with her tonight but can't do it. I feel like I should go to bed anyway tonight. I guess it is all home talent. Your mother is feeling fairly good, but gets rather worn out with the kiddies I think. Well honey, I must get back to work. If you don't want to bother with my income tax, just say so & send it back to me right away. I don't think it will take you long to make it out however, but don't wait until the last minute. Write when you have time. Loads of Hugs & kisses Mommie & kiddies
