Saving...
Daddy; I am writing with the pen you sent me. Thank-you very much for the set. There is one of your cigars in front of me and I dont like the smell very well. Mother got back this morning at five o'clock. Grandma likes her pin very much, She says breakfast is ready now so, I have to go eat. Mother is hunting for her ball. She found the ball but, is still singing. Mother is talking about the furnace, she says it is very warm. I tryed to do some soap carving but it all turned into nothing. I can still smell that cigar. I am sitting in the front hall at the desk. Well I must go to school now. Your loving son, John R.
