Saving...
Burlington, Ia Jan. 15, 1943 Fri morn My Dearest:- I was too tired to write you last nite, so will do it now. I rec'd two letters from you yesterday and was I glad to get them. I have been so lonesome since you left this time. I guess I have been worried so much for one thing. I got the chimney built up yesterday and cost me $25.00 That is where the money goes. I do wish we could see the thing. Write to Dee & tell him we really want him to go after it & sell it. I hope I wasn't a sap & got taken in on that chimney deal. It sounded awfully big to me. It was in a bad shape though. Those things just worry me to death. Honey, I do wish you would sell that car & go through on the train. It would be so much better for you I think it is too big a risk. Those tires must not be in very good shape. Why don't you take it back there where you got it & sell it to him for $100.00? I would rather lose 35.00 on it now than all of it later on. Glad your cold is better. Do take good care of yourself, as there are lots
