Saving...
The Judge Advocate General's School Ann Arbor, Michigan Feb. 3, 1943 Dearest Dorothea: Two nice letters from you today-one written Jan 31st and one Feb 1st enclosing the checks. I cashed the one and have endorsed the other and enclose it herewith for you. I don't believe I know Dr Shaw, do I? Maybe I've just forgotten him since being away so long. Be sure and take good care of your ankle and don't get on it until you get fully recovered from it. I guess maybe that is the only way for you to get a rest. A tough way to take it, but at least you are getting it. Do you mean Gladys Hampf in your letter or Gladys Rains? I couldn't tell which. I certainly was surprised to learn of Dorothy being in the hospital with pneumonia. How is she now? Be sure and keep me advised and tell her I'm thinking of her and hope she makes a speedy recovery. My cold is improving slowly-but Improving. It surely takes a lot of handkerchiefs, though, as I have a lot of discharge from my nose. Our class is "Class 9" and will start officially next Monday. I guess it is pretty tough.
