Camp Forrest Jan 26, 1943 Dearest, Dorothea: Got your letter of Sunday morning and sorry to hear Ruth is having such a time. Still think it is the result of infection from her diseased teeth. We should have thought of that long ago and made her get them taken care of. Too bad about Cliffie and hope he isn't laid up for long. I know how much you dread winter, too, and hope it is soon over. No, you can't be sick- so the thing for you to do is to plan how to keep well and that is to plan your time so you won't overdo. Just work at the shop when you can. If that doesn't make Glad and Sam's wishes, then I don't see anything except to quit entirely. we would just have to get along someway. You would surely have to budget, then. But maybe, you won't
