Camp Forrest, Tennessee Friday, Jan 22, 1943 Dearest Dorothea: You surely are having one heck of a time and I don't know how to help you. You might get Mother up to Herb's where Dorothy can take care of her as she has so much more time than you. You could take her up in the car Sunday. It is a touchy subject, but Herb ought to come and get her. I am still of the opinion that Ruth has some serious trouble unless it is a result of her bad teeth. Some surprise about the depot fire. They were remodeling it when I was home. Did they get the remodeling finished or were they still working on it? Will make it pretty bad for the railroad, won't it?
