May 9, 1942 6 O'Clock PM My Dearest- Received three letters from you this morning and am always so glad to get them. It seems like I miss you more every day. I don't see how I can do without you much longer, but know I have to. I am just through work and am going to Fairfield as soon as I can get ready. [Blousbe?] is going to ride with me as far as Fairfield and take the 8,20 bus from there. Ruth is going to have the children ready. I thought it would be nice to go up tonite.
