Dear Bess: Sunday night and the bugle is blowing taps. It has already got to be a regular thing to hear it. Also several airplanes over Camp most of time. I was down town to lunch today with Dr Schenck and his sister Mrs Stecher who came over from Temple. We had a little reunion over there as we were in Iowa City together also Dr Roberts. I have charge of a ward now. It is a surgical ward of infections
