has been a handicap. There are a number of very good men here who are only lieutenants so I do not expect a raise very soon if ever. However I can do the best I can while I am here. So send the books as soon as possible. I had some trouble finding out where Fox was staying but by thinking back I suppose it was Husbands. Her letters are entertaining. I wanted to go over to Dallas tomorrow to get some clothes but I am on call so I cant go. I had to buy some hankerchiefs and towells so you do not need to send any. Well I must close Yours, Walter.
