Feb. 28, 1942 Dear Dad & Mother: After a long ride on the Pullman Cars I got into Wicthika Falls Texas. About 1500 miles I think, we left Des Moines about 5 P.M. Thurs. & arrived here at 10 A.M. Fri. we weren't allowed off the cars at any time. We are really closely confined here. I don't think we will stay here very long tho. probably be shipped again in about 3 or 4 weeks.
