Dear Folks, I expect the corn is there by now and I hope it is going out all right. I was surely glad to get the Argo. That is a dandy picture of Dad. I showed it to all the fellows in the barracks. Gosh they all said he isn't near as big as you are. Most everyone calls me Tiny. I think I know everyone in the barracks by name. Altho they keep coming and going every day. The marching is going better now after you catch on to the "[mariaus?]" formations etc. it isn't bad. As far as work is concerned the army is a snap (so far). You put in lots of hours but you waste so much time I know that its a job to keep so many occupied but it seems as tho they could do better. I was just over to the day room to play ping pong but the tables were all busy and lines waiting. Just got my hair cut by a guy here in the barracks taint handsome but its short. At the Post Exchange you have to wait about two hours for a hair cut.
