civilian life it would cost between $2500 & $3000 hope it does me some good. The boys from Sheppard Field presented the church with a nice flag at the church this morning had a nice ceremony. Boy is the radio awful tonight hope it isnt as bad there. Ive heard Bergen & McCarthy, Fitch Bandwagon & now it's awful just static Most of the fellows are in the barracks writing letters and studying, there isnt very much to do in town. I haven't seen Agnes again but maybe I will soon. I've been pretty busy. I got a nice letter from Ruby Boyle, yesterday, she is really a swell kid. She got my address from Betty Frich Adams. Well I guess I'd better quit and write another letter or so & then study awhile. If you feel like it you might write the Hamiltons a note I think they'd like it. Love Johnny
