Saving...
I am listed on the bulletin board this morning as an airplane engine mechanic everyone i came with from Sheppard Field is in this group. I hope we can stay together. We have mail call here at 7.30 in the evening its about time for it I've already had supper & shaved & showered its begun to cool off and before long will be real cool. In the air corps the time is funny it starts at midnite and numbers up to 24 it seems funny to go someplace at 19:30 or 22 oclock. You have to stop & figure it out. I washed out two khaki uniforms (had an awful time with that word once more wrong and I'd have had a hole there) today they came out pretty good they want sixty cents a suit for doing them out here and im still a scatchman. I pulled creases in the pants and they look fine the shirts not so hot but good enough for out here and they are sure enough clean. Must try & write a couple more letters so will quit. Love Johnny
