Saving...
bags, shoes, food [packets] etc. Each are trying to get done first and in general causing confusion. The fellow who sleeps next to me now has a photograph album he [surely] has some good pictures so many of them. [illegible]some time in Hawaii and has some [illegible] picture he was also in Panama and all over this country. I have [it an] pretty good authority we are [illegible] to be here much longer [illegible] where we [move] I wouldn't even [illegible] a guess. [It is getting cold this [morning] and the wind is howling. It goes right there these tan] [illegible] barracks. There are cracks half an inch wide in the doors. They are [built] of 'x6's not matched and [it] certainly [shrank] some. [Mask of the lumber] here is [Bac]. hate looks like the [lumber] we got at the yard with that [stamp] on it. [illegible] it is #2 dimension and #3 boards so it isn't as good quality as what Dad [sells]. I'm right beside a big stone, [illegible] we get and of here [before] we [illegible] to build fires, you are too warm then. It isn't necessary. to have a fire because we are only in the barracks long enough to sleep. Didn't get a little today. Love Johnney
