Saving...
(2) Got a letter from you, Mrs. Bills and Uncle Raymond yesterday as well as two Unions which were for August the week before + after the fair so I had seen them. Uncle Raymond said they had been expecting you folks out soon as you were coming from the Slayton farm. He has had good crops so far and I think feels quite encouraged. I'd sure like to stop off for a week end with them. It was nice of Mrs. Bills to write I enjoyed the letter a lot. I have written almost every day lately. I expect the reason you get two letters some days is that they only pick up mail once a day + if I don't get one in the box in time it lays over. The fellow who took the pictures of me in my sheep skin pants, said the film didn't come out well at all some mechanical defect the shutter only partially opened or in some cases not at all so I guess Ill have to try it again soon before they get too dirty.
