says Alice likes her teaching job just fine. Which kind of surprises me I thought she'd be ready to come home by now. Jimmie may soon be in the navy air corps in the same line as Russell he is 20 and will be drafted soon anyway wish he might get to finish this year of school. Grandma seems to be fine she told me of Floyd Morris' death in California it was real sudden I guess. A bunch of them were going out, Jesse & Albert M & some more I kind of wonder if they go right by here. We have a new commanding officer at this field, the other one has been transferred to a different place. We all like him very much hope the new one is as good. He is a Captain
