New Hartford Tues. March 14th '65 Drew 3 lds for wood on sleigh. Mrs (?) here visiting Got 2 letters for Laura Moore Pa agreed to draw wood for Lewis Hammond tomorrow Hannah went with [illegible] to S. F. Ensigns Little black lamb (?) today Wed. March 15 1865 Cut wood A.M. Pa drew wood for L Hammond 2 loads; I drew 2 loads P.M. snowed quite hard towards night. Thu. 16 Drew 2 lds wood Mr. Hoyts folks come here 4 O'clock P.M. C. Ensigns wife here in evening. Livingston had pony yesterday & today Friday March 17th Mr. Hoyt & wife here all night. I went to Overacker to get some corn he was sick & came home by Wimple's took dinner there stopped to Royces he to C. Falls. Lamb no 11 come today Snow all melted.
