July 1st Saturday boated folks n crop river [illegible] $3.50 jones craped with his[tearn?]. sun. July 2nd Payment to B.D. Lews after [illegible]. Widow [illegible] [illegible]ferried some of a crop river cost my pocket book [entertaining?] over $13 [in the water] Mon. July 3 went to Costwright to get some waste [donean?] [bringing?] very warm went after [illegible] [illegible] SJ [illegible] to Dick's. [illegible] herd. Tues. July 4th. [illegible] went to Wanesly to the cellebratory with S Jafer J. Maxwell [illegible] [illegible] forded the Shell [peakcock] Wed. 5. At Waverley all night started for home at daylight. Stopped at shellack to breakfast go going 11 am. went out for [illegible] with Sarah and [illegible] not home. Thurs 6. [illegible] & Shantz here sheasime sheep sheared 53. I went to Ed collins & borrowed his sheep shears, Eld Wood [illegible]
