July 3 went to Costwright to get some waste [donean?] [bringing?] very warm went after [illegible] [illegible] SJ [illegible] to Dick's. [illegible] herd. Tues. July 4th. [illegible] went to Wanesly to the cellebratory with S Jafer J. Maxwell [illegible] [illegible] forded the Shell [peakcock] Wed. 5. At Waverley all night started for home at daylight. Stopped at shellack to breakfast go going 11 am. went out for [illegible] with Sarah and [illegible] not home. Thurs 6. [illegible] & Shantz here sheasime sheep sheared 53. I went to Ed collins & borrowed his sheep shears, Eld Wood [illegible]
