Thu March 1st 1866 Foggy & thawing creek rising rode Lady Dell to town. Showed Faucetts my letter from Beebee Michael Brannam & Mrs Hamone 4 here to dinner. I put a roof on privy Eugene had wagon. the snow is all gone except drifts I rec'd a letter from Matte Fri - March 2d The creek is up very high Mr Kiser here to breakfast he is after a Doct but can't get over the creek I lathed overhead in the kitchen. Sat. 3rd The boys drew manure on garden I borrowed Livingstons tools & Dressed out some lumber for Max. Boards & to make a door frame. Doc't from C. Falls here to night he wants to go to J. Halls T. H Whiting & E. Foster here.
