Wed May 30 1866 Scrapped 3/4 day at cellear Amos cut (proper?) poles & (?) mailed on 1 below wire Gilbert found our two colts C'f school house Pa went to look a Cooks farm Thu May 31 1866 Amos worked on the wall Eugene helped plow 1/4 day & draw logs 1/2 day Pa traded the Hotel for Cooks 80 acres & is to give him $300.00 two bad Fri June 1st 1866 Amos worked on the road with team. Livingston worked framing &c today Pa took the ponies & got bedstead Settled with Dr. Guthrie of (?) (?) owed $13.00 house rent (minus 2.80 for our 1/4 of repairs) for B amo & gave an order on Livingston of $16.50
