Germans. they must come to an absolute surrender before they can have peace. While we would all be glad to see it come it must come right. I can say that the Red Cross is about the best instutution in the whole game. They see that the boys that are wounded have good hot food and smokes. It may bring the thing closer to you to know that daily we are using the dressings that you are making. I do not know what the boys would do without it and I think that fellow who drew the "Greatest women in the world" was exactly right. They get action when it does good. Well dearest I must close with love to you and Helen. I am yours Walter
