have seen more than in all my life before. I will be glad though when I am through and can get back to you and home. I believe I am like a fellow from Tennessee that said if he ever joined another army it would be the Salvation Army. One hears great talk around the wards. Especially the colored fellows. They were talking about chicken and sweet potatoes the other day and you would have laughed to hear them. Well dear I must close now and go to work. I always am anxious to get your letters.
