It makes me lonesome to read of your being at the lake. I surely would like to be wearing Aunt Mays robe and believe I would use some the cigarettes although I have been very fortunate in getting cigarettes. I fear I have been smoking too much but there is nothing but to smoke and think of the time when I can be back home and have you with me again. So if my nerves are ruined I guess you will have to put up with a querolous old man who is your husband with love Walter Hello to Helen
