I have been sending the Martians each week - not because they contain any real news but because they told you more than we could until the censorship was lifted a bit. This last copy seems to be unusually good. I have written so many letters lately that I can't remember if I told you about Thanksgiving but I believe I did. Tomorrow all of us including the chief nurse are going by ambulance up to a city about 45 miles from here, Bourges. It is said that one of the most beautiful cathedrals in France is there and we expect to spend most of the day there. You see our camp is out in the country as it were, and we can only get to town by walking or riding in trucks or ambulances.
