Dec 20th Dear Folks at home - Well my Christmas box has arrived safe and sound so you see all your worry was for nothing. I can hardly wait until the Day to open it and get at that fruit cake. I tried to write to you Sun. but there was a possibility that I might get to Paris and I was too excited to do anything. A trip to Paris now is almost as hard to get as a trip to heaven
