Dear Dad & Mom: Well Ive had a little rest now broken by several details which werent so bad. I'll have to go back to work at four tomorrow morning I guess we will have the same shifts we had in [Windauer], 4am - 12 noon – 12 noon till 8 P.M. _ 8PM till 4 A.M. and change every week. I would much rather have one and stick to it for that way you can readjust your habits to suit your schedule. This way you [dont?] get used to [sleeping] your allotted time when you are changed. Was I surprised to hear of snow in [Iowa], I could [scarcely?] believe it. They flew our mail in from [Windauer] so we got it right away. I had the paper a letter from you mailed the 26th & one from [Caroline] with a snap shot of the family in it, taken out at Clear Lake this summer. I [sint?] the clipping on to Bob, dont remember which letter it was in yours or [carolines] now. Bobby has started taking typing now at school, it will be a great aid to him when he learns it. Weve been washing windows, scraping of the paint & putty with razor blades & then cleaning them up. I have all my clothes hung up and are some of them wrinkled just awful. Ill have to see what the laundry set up is here. I hope its better than [Wendauer] It took two weeks there for laundry & 10 days for dry cleaning. I didn't send any
