Saving...
while I was there it was too [punk?]. We would be able to get passes for a few days here but then I wouldn't very well get one while I'm on this shift anyway. Passes terminate at midnite and the last bus leaves town at 11:30. They have a huge PX here altho its not all stocked up as yet. When finished this [field?] will be by far the best [equipped?] of any [Ive] [seen?]. I have a fine theatre too only one hangar is conflicted but two more are started we are going to get some more airplanes here. That will really [keep?] us busy if they fly like they did at [Wendover?]. I guess I told you we are supposed to be stationed here for several months as we understand it, we are to be a training unit and train combat [crews?]. This may prove mighty dull but atleast you cant worry about me going across for awhile. This may [illegible] mighty dull but at least you can't worry about me going across for a while. I think today is your wedding anniversary. It is a beautiful day here and [hope?] it is [just?] as nice at home. May you have many more happy anniversarys. Love Johnny
