Saving...
then the other schedules we've been having. We have a laundry on the [field?] and I guess it's located here. Most everything is quite cheap. Coveralls are 25c finished - 15c [rough?] dry. [towels?] .01c handkerchiefs .01c sox .05c per [pr?] under wear is high it seems 15c a unit. Our khakis are cheap 10c for shirts + 20c for pants finished we have quit wearing the pants but still wear the shirts. I tried to get my hair cut yesterday but the barber was overflowing so I'll try it again today haircuts are 35c. there are eight or nine barbers too but there are lots of heads to cut. They are [sure] study more speed than carefulness as the don't much care how the finished product looks its the cash in [da pocket?] they are after. Our barracks were [illegible] night the other day and they moved in 15 more fellows which [illegible] crowds us up considerable.
