Saving...
quite a number of blooms left on it. They have an artificial lake with wild ducks and canadian geese and [illegible] too. Had some nice elms and the other trees were sugar maple, willow and cotton[illegible]s they looked pretty good however. Leaves are falling and it's quite Indian summer weather. We are looking forward to pay day which should be any day soon. it seems they are awfully slow about paying. Our orderly room is kind of [illegible] they are always making mistakes and they pay roll is rejected Then you must sign over again and they try it again. Have been issued comforters now, many [illegible] filled ones and I guess thats whats in them. So they must figure on the weather changing to winter quite soon. The climate here is much like home. I think or so it seems so far. Well I have to hand in my pass and go eat by eleven so will stop for now. Love Johnny
