Nov. 1, 1942 Pueblo, Colo. Dear, Dad & Mom: Got in here yesterday afternoon about four oclock. Our train wasn't very fast but we had a couple of good meals on the diner. Went over this morning and got paid this came in handy as I didnt have very much left. It seems kind of good to get settled down & see all the familiar faces. It has changed some there are buildings now where there werent any when we left. I surely had a pile of mail when I got back one of the fellows had gotten it for me. We changed barracks while I was away but the fellows moved my stuff & I dont beleive I lost anything.
