Nov. 2, 1942 Dear Dad & Mom: This has been rather a cold raw day, wind blowing & just a trace of moisture in the air. Im back in the collar after my |vacation| worked from midnight till noon today its too darn long I hate to work in the dark, when it is light you get so much more accomplished & time passes quicker. Got the papers today & yesterday a nice letter from John Camp and another from Ki. Boy was that a long letter from you with the pictures in it, sixteen pages and I enjoyed every one of them, the pictures were pretty good too the chute doesnt lean so badly on the silo it looks real
